ABOUT US
Karen Barnes, Owner and Landscape Designer
Karen received her B.A. degree from the University of Virginia. Inspired
by Thomas Jefferson's passion for marrying landscape to architecture,
she pursued her Landscape Design Certificate from The George Washington
University. Her training focused on horticulture, design and
construction practices for residential gardens. A lifelong gardener with
a keen eye for creating living spaces, Karen has designed landscapes in
the Washington metropolitan area for the better part of the last decade.
